Eden Hazard Admits Fatigue Post 2018 World Cup

Eden Hazard said he felt tired after putting everything in the summer World Cup yesterday, but he still felt happy playing for Chelsea.

Hazard played a big role in the success of Belgium finishing third in Russia. Although the World Cup limits his rest period during the summer, the winger has enjoyed a good start to the season by scoring eight goals and four assists in 14 matches.

The 27-year-old striker had a back problem after several treatments in the match against United last October. His injury had disrupted his preparations ahead of the World Cup, apparently it had become a factor in his fitness.

“Believe me, I’m tired! But I think I’m in good condition to play. “Last year I got an injury with my ankle for three months,” Hazard said.

“So that’s why I’m fresh now. And when you are happy in the field, you can try a number of things. I just enjoy myself. ”

“For the past seven years with Chelsea, I have always enjoyed myself. When I was on the pitch I tried to give happiness, first for me and then for fans who watched the match. At present, we do it well and that’s why I do it well. So I like playing right now. ”

On Sunday (11/11), Hazard played for 90 minutes when Chelsea drew 0-0 against Everton at Stamford Bridge. This is the first time he has played full since the 2-2 draw against Manchester United on October 20.

Draw against the Toffees, Chelsea dropped to third place in the standings with 28 points, four points adrift of leaders Manchester City who won a convincing 3-1 victory over Manchester United at the Etihad Stadium. The second position is claimed by Liverpool who beat Fulham at Anfield. The three teams are still unbeaten so far in the league.
